Description

Founding member of The Punch Brothers, and winner of the coveted "Steve Martin Prize For Excellence In Banjo (2010)," Noam Pikelny is a true musicians musician. With the punch brothers, Noam takes a uniquely modern approach to the banjo, playing sometimes traditionally, and other times anything but.

Appearing as Bryan Sutton, Luke Bulla, Barry Bales, and Jesse Cobb; Noam Pikelny and Friends is an all star cast. Luke Bulla is a singer songwriter and violinist from Nashville TN. He has been touring since the age of four starting with his own family band. Bryan Sutton is one of the most sought after guitarists in the US. Hailing from Asheville, NC, he has played with the likes of Dolly Parton, Ricky Skaggs, and Taylor Swift. Barry Bales is the bass player for Alison Krauss and Union Station, and has recorded with artists like The Civil Wars, Elvis Costello, and Merle Haggard. Jesse Cobb is a rambling mandolinist, playing his way around the country with bands like The Infamous Stringdusters.
