Thirty two local restaurants will be participating in this week’s fine dining special event held October 13–19. Restaurants are featuring prix fixe lunch and dinner menu prices (or discount pricing on their existing menus), enticing guests to try some new hot spots or to enjoy their comfortable old favorites. Restaurants will feature $10/$15 lunches and $20/$30 dinners.
In a special new twist — numerous local retailers getting in on the fun, offering specials, sales and cash prizes.
“Restaurant week gives the public an opportunity to experience the many fine restaurants and retailers in our community. This week long event is another way our town can show its support for our local businesses, help our local economy and provide our residents with an enjoyable experience. We encourage Fairfield’s citizens and visitors to join us in this special town event,” said First Selectman Tetreau.
The Town has created a passport book that is available at each participating restaurant as well as the Fairfield University Bookstore, Fairfield Town Hall or Fairfield Public Library. Have your passport (one entry per household) stamped at each successive visit. Passports with two or more stamps will be eligible for a drawing held the week after the event. Complete the information form in the Passport, enjoy a few delicious meals in town (don’t forget your stamp) and deposit your passport into specially designated receptacles by October 23. Winners will be notified by email. Prizes include birthday party discounts, Sportsplex gift certificates, clothing store gift certificates, jewelry, a cash prize of $500 courtesy of the Gray Goose/Little Goose Restaurants and more.
What a great week to try some of Fairfield’s new restaurants, revisit and support your favorites or to treat a friend/family member! Check back throughout the week as we will be highlighting additional specials!
