The Burr Homestead was the home for the first-annual Fairfield Town Party, a celebration of food, entertainment and community. Sponsors included BMW of Bridgeport, Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, JP Philbin Landscapes & Nursery, and the Fairfield Museum. Inside the Burr Homestead, Southport Galleries created an exhibit for guests to peruse fine works of art. Attendees gathered under the tent supplied by Abbey Tent & Party Rentals, with mood lighting by Shindig Lighting, to sip cocktails, sample delicious bites from the area’s favorite restaurants and cast their votes for Fairfield’s Best Dish. Café Madeline took home the trophy for their delectable roasted butternut squash and sausage. Adam Plotnick of the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home won a pair of rose gold and diamond earrings from sponsor Henry C. Reid & Son Jewelers. Guests danced the night away to the tunes of the band Bone Dry. Significant proceeds from the event and its sponsors will benefit Operation Hope and the Pilot House.
