Book-a-Cook took over Operation Hope’s soup kitchen to serve a warm, locally sourced (not to mention, delicious) meal to over fifty people. Chef Tim Fornero, an A-list chef who has served at some of the nation’s top kitchens, created a holiday-inspired meal of citrus-brined turkey, chestnut gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, cornbread, and decadent apple cobbler. Book-A-Cook business partners Ashley Hart and Amy Strife decorated the Operation Hope dining area to feel like a true holiday celebration. The special evening allowed needy individuals to enjoy all the comforts of a holiday meal.
