Fairfield Museum and History Center’s Toast of the Town Fall Gala was an extra special evening this year. The museum is kicking off a year of celebrating 375 years of Fairfield history. Attendees enjoyed a cocktail buffet, live music and live and silent auctions. Attendees mingled among the artifacts of the museum’s newest exhibition, Creating Community: 375 Years of Our Past. Artifacts include a nineteenth-century trolley, reproductions of a Native American wigwam, and an American Revolution-era fort that allowed visitors to feel like they stepped back in time. Decked out in their best threads, guests also viewed past fashions in the In Vouge: A Runway of Vintage Fashion exhibition. Cheers to Fairfield’s rich past and bright future!
