In Full Bloom
The 77th Annual Dogwood Festival Delights Again
This year's Dogwood Festival, held on the glorious grounds of the Greenfield Hill Congregation Church, was a beautiful success. The Dogwood trees cooperated by keeping their blooms despite the early arrival of spring, and attendees flocked to the seventy-seventh annual event. Highlights included a plant and garden boutique, selling trees, hostas, flowering plants, and more; Kate's Korner tag sale and collectibles, offering irresistible vintage finds in furniture, glassware, and even a Coleman inflatable boat. Lots of food, with everything from kettle corn and freshly made lemonade to burgers and ice cream. As attendees wandering the many booths on the grounds of the historic church, others attended lectures on gardening or a performance by pianists. All in all, this family-friendly, old-fashioned New England festival proves deep roots lead to impressive growth. More at greenfieldhillchurch.com.
