On We Go

Local post-grads find themselves in a new web series

Is there life after college? For twentysome-things these days, the answer is a qualified yes. College loans, a poor job market and sleeping on friends’ futons in Brooklyn may not make for fulfilling post-grad experiences, but they do make for good videos. That’s the expectation, at any rate, of friends and fellow Fairfield University graduates (between 2006 and 2008) Francesca Andre, Brien Lynch and Melissa Ternier. Created by Andre, a native of Haiti and a photographer, the three have teamed up to produce the web series 3L (Live, Laugh, Love) about, whatelse, life after college as twentysomethings. The six-part series centers around a strong young woman in search of self-discovery while supported by a network of close friends. The first three episodes of the series have been shot but won’t begin airing until this summer, by which time the trio hopes to have raised money to shoot the remaining episodes. Meanwhile, the teaser for the series received more than a thousand hits in its first week online. You can check it out at youtube.com/watch?v=MBIwGu_FEYI.
